# Privacy Policy

## Scope and contact
This policy explains how Fairway Shade handles personal information through its Shopify store and order communications. For privacy enquiries, access or correction requests, or complaints, email bradwex90@gmail.com.

## Information collected
Depending on how you use the store, information may include your name, email, phone number, delivery and billing addresses, order number, chosen design and size, payment status, transaction records, account information and customer service communications.

Shopify and enabled payment providers process payment information. Device and usage information may include IP address, browser details, pages viewed and cookie identifiers.

We collect information you provide when ordering, contacting us or subscribing, information generated by store use, and information supplied by service providers to process payments and delivery.

## Purposes
We use necessary information to process and fulfil orders, allocate preorder batches, send order and tracking updates, respond to enquiries, assess returns, prevent fraud and maintain business records.

Promotional communications are separate from order updates. Where consent is required, we obtain it before promotional use. You can unsubscribe from marketing; this does not stop necessary order communications.

## Service providers and disclosures
We may share information needed for store hosting, payments, postal delivery, customer support, business administration or legal obligations with the relevant service providers. Shopify hosts the store; Australia Post handles the proposed domestic delivery service.

Our manufacturing supplier is in Pakistan. Batch preparation may involve order references, selected designs and sizes. Any identifiable information shared for fulfilment is limited to what is necessary for that purpose. We do not authorise suppliers to use customer information for their own marketing.

Shopify and other service providers may process or store information outside Australia. Their current privacy notices explain their processing locations and practices. Shopify’s privacy information is available at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

## Cookies and store features
Shopify and enabled store services may use cookies and similar technologies for checkout, security, preferences, analytics and advertising features where enabled. Available consent controls and your browser settings can manage some of these technologies. Blocking necessary cookies may affect checkout.

The final published policy must reflect the analytics, advertising and Shopify enhanced features actually enabled in this store.

## Security and retention
We use reasonable measures to protect information, including appropriate account access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for orders, customer service, accounting, disputes and legal obligations. We do not promise to delete records that we are required or entitled to retain.

## Access, correction and complaints
Contact us to request access to or correction of information we hold. We may verify identity proportionately before responding and explain any lawful reason a request cannot be completed.

For a privacy complaint, describe what happened and the outcome you seek. We will acknowledge it, investigate and respond within a reasonable time. You may also contact the appropriate privacy regulator where it has jurisdiction.

## Updates
We may update this policy when store practices or legal requirements change. The published version will state its effective date. Changes do not authorise uses of your information that otherwise require consent.
